· Text only menus Latest News Prep Information Sessions!! This year Kenmore South will be holding two Information Sessions for Prep in 2009. The first is on Thursday Sept 11th in the evening 7-8pm, and the alternate session is on Friday Sept 12th in the morning 9-10am. The Information Sessions will be held in the Prep classrooms.  The closest entrance for these is at the corner of Strathspey and Glen Frew Streets. We've just recently had our Open Day and it was a great success! Our strings group "Allegro" played on the day, and visitors got to see "working classrooms" at Kenmore South. From the Preps all the way to Year 7 our classrooms were open to the public and people could see how the school day is conducted. Learning at Kenmore South is very much about sustainability. On show beyond our classrooms were our solar inverter that measures the electricity generated by our photovoltaic solar panels, our revegetation areas; all our water tanks (which are flushing all the toilets); and our vegetable garden, worm farms  and compost bins. A big thank you to the parents who assisted with the morning tea.
